Expected Energy Use

     Energy Expert compares actual level of consumed energy to an estimated appropriate amount for that day. This estimate is not only derived from your building’s previous electrical energy consumption levels for a similar calendar day, but also weather conditions for that specific day. This variable is extremely important, given that weather has a huge influence on the use of the heating and cooling system for any energy consuming entity, such as your building. These estimates are used to calculate the savings you have incurred AND to alert you, the energy manager, of upcoming peaks. Actions taken to prevent these peaks are what are going to save you money.
