Recording Interval Data

At the end of each day, all of your building’s energy data is uploaded to a model to compare to a reference day in the past. Data is recorded at every fifteen minutes throughout the day to ensure precise information is at hand. Below you can see how each day has its own ‘EKG’ chart monitoring the entire days’ energy fluctuations. As you can see in the bottom left corner, values such as the month’s average peak time and value, as well as total energy consumption are identified. The month’s maximum and minimum temperatures are also noted.

This data is saved and can be referred to at any point in the future if needed. This daily data can also be accumulated over a longer time period (defined by you) to more fully understand your building’s use of energy during different times of the month or year. It is also provided in a graph for a visual representation of your building’s energy habits. The Cumulative Sum graph charts your buildings’ energy savings along side actual cost savings. They say the eye is the best diagnostic tool in existence, which is why the Energy Expert graphs and reports are so useful!
