Q: Why does the TOU Period keep jumping back to "Sum/Max TOU"?
A: There is a project level setting called "tune only to the sum TOU". Single left click the highest parent in the project tree. Go to the Project Preferences Tab to see this setting.
More often than not, it is fine to leave this box checked; the sum of the TOU periods has a good correlation to weather.
If unchecked, each of the tou periods may be tuned individually. For some buildings this can be important to get a good meter tune. Perhaps the off peak consumption fits with HDD and on peak consumption does not.
