Q: How do I know if I'm paying too much on my utility bills?
A: Much depends on your utility company and the degree to which their rules and regulations are open to interpretation. With some districts the rules are very black and white, choose either A or B. With others it's much more complex. The more complex and complicated, the better to find areas to question.
Q: How long does the process take? How much time will this require on my part?
A: It usually takes about 4 months to complete our work. All we require are copies of the bills. We do all the analysis and work with the utility companies, and let you go about with your business.
Q: What can you do that we cannot on our own?
A: Good question, and the simple answer that this is what we do every day, and we have the experience of working on literally thousands of businesses and governmental agencies.

Q: What's my risk?
A: There are only three possibilities at the conclusion of our work, and they are all good news for you. The first is that we find you are being undercharged and notify you of that fact. The second possibility is that you are being charged correctly, and we can provide independent verification of that fact, giving you peace of mind. The third is that we find you refunds or save on your current and future bills. This is what happens with more than 75% of our clients.
We do not switch you to another utility company, you don't have to purchase any new equipment, and nothing changes about you use your power. Everything stays the same except you now pay less.
Q: What are all your services?
A: We specialize in analyzing gas, electric, water, sewage, garbage and direct assessments. (Direct assessments are line items, like a storm drain charge, that appear on property tax bills. It varies on a state-by-state basis.)
Q: How do I get started?
A: Since it takes us approximately 4 months to do this work, we're very careful to determine beforehand if we are confident of finding savings. We will tell you from the beginning if there is a potential for savings or not. We'd rather turn away business than waste your time and ours.
