Senior Facility Manager

This position is a key leader on the Account core team who is responsible for ensuring quality delivery of Facility Management Operations while supporting project management and core client site functions. This individual will ensure all contract deliverables are met or exceeded; including operational up time, safety, cost savings initiatives, service improvements and introduction of best practices.

Key Elements and Essential Tasks

  • Maintain high client and user satisfaction with services provided, measured through quarterly KPI’s and satisfaction surveys
  • Responsible for positive and prompt response to service requests from building occupants
  • Partner with Account leadership to ensure consistent implementation of best practices
  • Deliver on site operational budgets measured by achieving annual budget targets, and monthly/quarterly budget adherence targets as prescribed
  • Ensure understanding of contract requirements and compliance across the operations team
  • Drive superior performance through exceptional people management
  • Drive a culture of quality, safety and operational excellence
  • Achieve contractual requirements and account annual goals including but not limited to work order management metrics and all contractual KPI goals
  • Other duties and tasks assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelors’ degree in Business, Facilities Management or Engineering preferred, or equivalent education and experience
  • CFM, FMA or other industry certifications preferred; other Engineering certifications or training a plus
  • 7+ years Facility Management experience, with critical environments, hospital, lab or clean room experience preferred
  • Prior managerial/supervisory experience with 7×24 operations required
  • Experience handling sensitive client and/or company issues, escalating with urgency, or mitigating or de-escalating risks
  • Proven ability in balancing interests of the client with those of the company
  • Excellent technical, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong computer and systems knowledge
  • Able to pass background check and drug testing
  • Able to achieve client Security Clearance requirements
